Classes of Membership

ORDINARY MEMBER. Persons aged at least 18 years.
JOINT MEMBERS. Husbands and wives and other cohabiting adult couple.
MIDSHIPMAN. Persons aged at least 18 years but less than 25 years old.
CADET. Person aged at least 12 years and less than 18 years.
JUNIOR CADET. Person under the age of 12. Each Junior Cadet shall have a sponsor who shall be a member of the Club (other than a Social Member or Cadet).
COUNTRY MEMBERS. Those who in the opinion of the Committee are unable (whether by reason or residence or otherwise) to take reasonable advantage of the rights of Ordinary Membership.
SOCIAL MEMBER. Person wishing to use the Club’s social and land based activities in accordance with the following rules: Social Membership is open to persons over the age of 18 years who have either: (a) not previously been members of the Club or (b) been members of the Club, but whose membership has ceased by reason of resignation for a minimum of two years or (c) been members of the Club and have given at least two years written notice of the desire to transfer to Social Membership.

 

Membership Fees 2023

Ordinary: – £138 ……….(or £11.50 a month)
Joint: – £200 ……….(or £16.67 a month)
Midshipman: (18 to 25 years) – £70 ……….(or £5.83 a month)
Cadet: (Under 18 years) – £33 ……….(or £2.75 a month)
Junior Cadet: (12 years and under ) – £22 ……….(or £1.83 a month)
Country: – £60 ……….(or £5.00 a month)
Country Couple: – £84 ……….(or £7.00 a month)
Social: – £60 ……….(or £5.00 a month)
Senior Social: – £30  ……….(or £2.50 a month)

Jetty storage fees are additional and run March to March

Membership renewal due annually on the 1st November. Failure to pay until after 1st January receives a 10% penalty surcharge. Any resignations must reach the committee in writing before the 1st November.
