Please see below for details of this week’s activities at The TEYC…

THURSDAY:

FRIDAY / SUNDAY:
Please note that the bar will not be open this Friday and Sunday

CHRISTMAS DAY:
12:00: Bar Open for the Christmas Day Loyal Toast – run by Dave Sporle

As per tradition, meet with members and friends at the jetty from 12:00 on Christmas Day where the bar will be very open and you will be able to enjoy a drink, a mince pie and conversation on Santa’s performance of 2017. We will round off this very well attended event with the Loyal Toast to ‘The Queen’ at 13:00 during which we will remember absent friends. So, not only a bit of fresh air (free), this is an opportunity to meet with friends for a drink (not so free, but very reasonably priced) and chat (free) and comes with a free glass of Port (free)!

All that free stuff – you know it makes sense!

Happy Christmas!

Ladies and Gentlemen,
It’s that time of year again and the Annual RNLI Crew Dinner is almost upon us.  As always, the TEYC will be doing its best to have the biggest table at this event.  For those of you who haven’t been before, the evening consists of a 3-course meal, top-flight comedian, speeches from the mayor and RNLI representatives, an auction and a raffle.  The cost for the evening is £37.

If you would like to attend, please contact Neil Charnock ASAP (please see the latest TEYCWeekAhead email for his address) to reserve your place.  Please send Neil a cheque payable to RNLI (please do not send your cheque to the club).  This can be post-dated to 26/1/18 if required.  Please book soonest to give Neil time to get our table arranged.

Regards
Nigel Manning
