First, a couple of important notices…
1. From the Membership Secretary…
2018 Membership cards for all those members who have paid prior to last weekend can be found in a box on a shelf behind the bar – please collect yours on your next visit to the club.
2. From the outgoing Rear Commodore…
In preparation for the upcoming sailing season, we are organising a work party to scrub the slipway with an environmentally safe algaecide.
The work party is planned for the Saturday 10th February and we hope to chase the tide down the slipway as it goes out. High Tide on the day is 7:55am, so muster on the jetty from 8:00am for fortifying tea and then on with the business of scrubbing the slipway. Please note this is not the cleanest of jobs, so don’t arrive in your Sunday best.
If you are available to attend, please drop me an email (please see the latest TEYCWeekAhead email for my address) – I will make sure that there is enough milk to go in the tea.
If you intend to sail in 2018, then this is for your benefit, so please make every effort to attend.
