The Week Ahead 2nd – 7th January

Firstly, a special message from The Commodore…

Hi all,

The Cadet AGM is being held at 19:00 on Friday.  Cheryl will be updating all Cadets and Parents on the season’s upcoming events.  Please do your best to attend as she has put a huge amount of effort into putting a programme together to ensure that the cadets get a really good season of sailing and onshore activities.

Also on Friday, there will be an entertainments committee meeting starting at 20.00.  This is your club, so if you would like to come down and suggest / host any events for the 2018 season please come along with your suggestions.  We need your ideas, so please feel welcome to come along.

The RNLI Crew Dinner is looming fast – Friday 26th January – and Neil Charnock really needs your names if you would like to attend.  We will be having a mixed table this year so don’t delay as demand will be higher than normal.  Please contact Neil ASAP.

Regards and a Happy New Year
Nigel Manning

It’s that time of year again and the Annual RNLI Crew Dinner is almost upon us.  As always, the TEYC will be doing its best to have the biggest table at this event.  For those of you who haven’t been before, the evening consists of a 3-course meal, top-flight comedian, speeches from the mayor and RNLI representatives, an auction and a raffle.  The cost for the evening is £37.

If you would like to attend, please contact Neil Charnock ASAP (see the latest TEYCWeekAhead email for his address) to reserve your place.  Please send Neil a cheque payable to RNLI (please do not send your cheque to the club).  This can be post-dated to 26/1/18 if required.  Please book soonest to give Neil time to get our table arranged.
