First a special invite from the TBYC
There is a talk at Thorpe Bay YC on Tuesday at 20:00 hours by Dave Selby called “Marlins Mission” (Marlin is an 18′ sailfish yacht). It is an encouragement to get people on the water by utilising unused boats left in boat yards, yacht clubs etc. Ideal for people who sail or have ever thought about sailing, so feel welcome to bring someone who’s always wanted to – but never sailed before.
Now please see below for details of this week’s activities at The TEYC…
20:00: Bar Open – run by Dave Sporle
18:30: Bar Open – run by Steve Riddell
08:00: Jetty Work Party
High Tide 07:55am Height 4.7m
Muster on the jetty from 8:00am for fortifying tea and then on with the business of scrubbing the slipway. Please note this is not the cleanest of jobs, so don’t arrive in your Sunday best.
If you are available to attend, please email Tim McNally (see the latest TEYCWeekAhead email for his address)
If you intend to sail in 2018, or if you have cadets at the club then this is for your benefit, so please make every effort to attend.
