The evenings entertainment is very kindly provided by one of our members, Alan Martin, with a mixture of jokes and witticisms, Alan learnt his trade aboard the cruise ship “Joseph Stalin” on the run to Murmansk. Facing terrible storms and high seas, Alan often had his audience rolling in the aisles… boom boom.
He used to travel the country performing his one-man show, hoping some day to increase the size of his audience to two or even three….boom boom. Hopefully you are getting an idea of the type of evening you will be in for. To make Alan look good (or bad) we will have a max of 5 people taking turns to tell a joke, totally voluntary, throughout the evening, so if you fancy it start practising now and there will be a prize with Alan being the judge.
