Two things…
Firstly:
Please see the message below from Jonathan Charnock regarding launching and recovering the Safety boats:
To all those who use / launch and recover both ribs
- A stern line has been tied onto the trailers when on the jetty. This stops the boats sliding off the trailers when they catch a bump and subsequently cause damage to them. Please remember to untie it before launching and re-attach it one recovered.
- Also, the ribs are now stored bow to bow in the shed and are resting on their keels. Once down, the engines are to be lowered down as well.
Cheers
Jonathan
Secondly:
Here’s the full sailing program for this year pdf version or excel version – yours to keep and treasure and print and frame and hang on the wall so you’ll never miss a sailing event again. Many thanks to all on the Sailing Committee for their hard work on this. There are 66 scheduled sailing events at the TEYC this year; what a great club!
For those of you who are slated for Race Officer and/or Safety Boat duty, please make sure you note the dates you are down for and Race Officer Co-ordinator Jay Denny’s comments regarding what to do if you are unable to attend for your scheduled duty.
Don’t forget the bar is very open tonight, tomorrow, and Sunday.
