Our main Sailing programme runs from April to October and you can either take part competitively, or follow the course round for pleasure to gain more experience. We also organise cruises, camping weekends and family & friends days when members can try out the different club boats, or they can bring along guests to give sailing a try.
All sorts of craft are sailed at TEYC, from Cruisers to Catamarans to Lasers, providing fun and a challenge to all skill levels. Of course it is not necessary to own a boat to be able to enjoy sailing! The club has a number of boat available to hire, including; Wayfarers, Toppers, Optimists, an RS Vision and Topaz, plus club members with their own boats are always willing to take you out, and an enthusiastic ‘crew’ is always in demand.
