Firstly a notice regarding the visit from HM Coastguard on Saturday 5th August…
HM Coastguard came into the clubhouse on Saturday and said they’d had a report that some youths had been seen trying to damage the jetty from below. Andy Harvey has walked the length of it underneath to check but couldn’t see any problems. (Thanks Andy). The Coastguard said they’d had reports that other local yacht clubs had been targeted in the same way, so asked if we see anything, to please call them on 01702 294998.

11:30: One Tide Sailing Adventure”
A TEYC Armada will be leaving the jetty on Saturday for a massive “one tide sailing adventure” to All Hallows’ Yacht Club. (Due south). Leave around 13:00 and sail straight across. Invade Kent, look for any Deathly Hallows, claim it for Essex and then eat nice lunch in their delightful club with friendly Sailors. Return to Jetty for 5:30pm(ish).
