NOTICE BOARD…
Jetty Work Party – This Friday Evening 19:00
In order to provide a non-slippy slipway for the Cadet Regatta, there will be a Jetty Work Party on Friday evening to scrub the slipway clean of the algae that has built up on it. The anti-fouling that was put on the slipway in February prevents the algae from fully attaching to the timber, so a good scrub should see it ship-shape again. Brushes will be provided, but please feel free to bring your own if you have a particular weapon of choice.

DIARY DATE – put it in your diary now…
Saturday 9th June – Cruise to Queenborough:
Following the success of last year’s trip, we have another cruise to Queenborough planned as follows:
- Muster on the jetty at 8:00 – 08:30
- Ready the boats and set off from the jetty at 10:00 on the outgoing tide
- Sail to Queenborough – taking in the views of the River Medway
- Relax and have lunch at the Flying Dutchman public house (they serve good meals)
- Sail back on the next tide leaving at around 15:30 – 16:00 for an arrival back at The TEYC somewhere between 17:30 – 19:00 (depending on wind direction)
Last year we made the return trip in a little over 1.5 hrs due to a healthy breeze on the beam! There will be a safety briefing in the clubhouse before we set off, and safety boat cover for the day. These events are great fun, so do please put the date in your diaries and come and join us. We hope this year we will have an even bigger Kentish Coast raiding party.
