Sunday’s Mudlarking Outing and Soup
Mudlarking is looking for lost items of historical value in river mud. This Sunday at 14.00 we are lucky to have a talk by Brian Denny on Mudlarking, including a show and tell of some of his finds. After the talk he will be taking us out on the mud to see what we can find. Please bring along suitable footware, clothes and a trowel for a January stroll on the estuary. Following our foray, we will return to the clubhouse for hot soup made by Karen and Eddie Gargan. So that we have an idea of numbers to cater for please email me on jay.denny83@gmail.com if you are planning to attend.

Please return trophies ahead of this year’s prize giving for engraving, there is a box in the gents changing room.

Jetty Paint Work Parties
This year’s jetty slipway paint will be on the 5th and 6th February. Muster will be at 08:00 on both days.
If you, or your children plan on sailing this year, your attendance will be needed on one or both days to help get the slipway ready for the start of the season proper to ensure safety while launching boats.
