It is with great sadness that we have learned of the death of our past Commodore, Trustee and long standing member of the club John Thatcher. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.

With huge regret, we have learned the tragic news that former member Harrison Owens has passed away this morning, leaving behind his wife and young daughter. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this most difficult of times.

Reminder Island Yacht Camp Canvey
We are a matter of weeks away from our second annual camp out of the year at the Island Yacht Camp Canvey. The usual format of sail over, set up base, camp out etc and sundowner fire-pit on the beach with tunes.
The dates for this event are Sat/Sun 19th/20th August
We’d like to start getting an idea of numbers as we will need to advise our hosts of how many of us there are, so if you are hoping to come please let Paul Hunt or Cheryl Wright know – and if you are intending to sail or looking for a crewing opportunity.
