NOTICE BOARD
Island Yacht Club Camping Adventure
Saturday 19th August
Muster for this event is at 11:30am. Please be punctual.
This ensures we have plenty of time for everyone to get changed, prep and fuel the RIB’s, deliver the briefing, ferry people to their yachts then launch everything, Dinghies RIBs and yachts all need to go as a fleet.
We aim to sail away at 13:00
Arrival time at IYC will be around 14:00 depending on how punctual we are and on wind direction/conditions – if there is a ‘blow out’ we will go “Rubber Over Tarmac”
FOOD ARRANGEMENTS:- IYC Galley will be open for bar food such as burgers sausages chips etc pay as you go – and again for breakfast in the morning
IYC STIPULATION You must not bring hot food or take-away onto the site or cook in the IYC grounds whilst the galley is open. Please adhere to this stipulation thank you.
Please use the club bar for your drinks IYC are hosting for us and getting in extra supplies – This is how we repay the clubs we visit (otherwise they get nothing out of it) and ensures we keep getting invited back.
It would be very handy if those driving over can help take camping stuff please.
Sunday 20th August
We will aim to leave IYC again on Sunday around 14:00 – 14:30 (depending how much water we have) with an estimated arrival back at TEYC of roughly 15:30.

Important note:
If you are sailing to IYC on Saturday, either as helm or crew, you must either sail back the TEYC on Sunday or have a pre-arranged replacement who will take your place for the trip home.
