Firstly, please be aware that a thief has been targeting a lot of clubs in our area, please do not leave any valuables in the changing rooms as this man is waiting till members are out sailing then walks into the club and steals phones wallets etc etc. He has already done the Essex, Thorpe Bay and Leigh yacht clubs plus the Sea Scouts in Leigh. If you are race officer and there is no one else around it may be an idea to lock the door? Apparently he is on a bike. There are further details about this lowlife on the clubs Facebook page.
Wednesday: Evening Series r/o Andy Harvey s/b Jonathan Charnock Start time 19.30.
Thursday: Evening Series r/o Clare & David Brooks s/b Dave Caten Start time 19.30. Bar will be open from 19.00 manned by Mel and me.
Friday: Bar open from 20.00 and manned by Nigel Rae.
Sunday: Barrett Trophy r/o Richard Homan s/b Nigel Rae Start time 10.00. The bar will be open from 12.30 till 15.30’ish. The galley will also be open from 12.30 to approx. 3 pm.
Finally, the beer this week will be the ever popular Adnams Ghostship, I could’nt get any more of the Samba City, sorry 🙂 🙂 I know how much you all liked it !!
