A number of members have commented that there have not been many events put on for the membership of late so we have put together the following, please try and support them as they are a good way to get to know new and existing members and are a vital source of revenue for club funds.
- 3/10 Steve Riddell’s world famous quiz, fiendishly difficult but hugely enjoyable, always well supported this one, so watch out for his email that will be coming soon with full details.The bar will be open.
- 6/11 Book club. First one for a while so pop down if you want to join in and the bar will be very open.
- 7/11 Fireworks night. Bring your own fireworks to add to the display and enjoy Hot Dogs served from the galley as well, yum yum . The bar will be very open .
- 20/11 RNLI Christmas card/goodies sale , please support this event where we will be selling all manner of RNLI goods in aid of the Southend RNLI. Last year we raised a record amount beating all the other local yacht clubs and of course the bar will be open. If you can’t make it down please note that we will be selling merchandise all over the weekend.
- 21/11 Laying up supper. This meal will a curry buffet supplied by the Mamataz Mahal and full details will be supplied closer the time but please get it in your diaries.
- 5/12 Prizegiving Usual format and hosted by TEYC’S answer to Jonathan Ross…. Roy Nunn the Hon Sailing Secretary.
- 12/12 (Saturday) The TEYC Annual Xmas Lunch. This is one of the best supported events of the year so keep the date free and this year it will be different in as much that we will carry on into the evening with music dancing etc etc. Could be messy !
- 25/12 Loyal Toast at the bar.
- New Years Eve Party…, Same format as in prev years ie silly games, drinking, eating, dancing, drinking etc., etc.,
