+++ Island Yacht Club Camping Trip +++
Dear Members,
This Saturday (17th August) sees our second cruise and camping adventure to: Island Yacht Club. This is the one with the firepit on the beach..
Details:
Muster is at 08:00 at TEYC on Saturday morning with a sail-away of roughly 09:30 to arrive at IYC approx one hour before High Water. That gives us time to pull any boats ashore and pick up any stragglers etc.
If you prefer not to camp you are welcome to come by road for the day (Rubber over Tarmac) to greet the sailors and join in the fun, the address for the club is:

It would be helpful to have a few cars available at TEYC to take camping equipment over for those who are sailing – if you can help in this respect, it would be much appreciated.
Important: (Rules, there are some – Sorry)
Please use the Island Yacht Club bar for your drinks and the Galley for your hot food requirements. Please do not consume your own alcohol whilst the bar is open.
IYC have a strict rule that consumption of take-away food is not allowed on the premises or grounds, neither are BBQ’s – compliance with these rules is how it is worth their while having us each year.
The galley will be open until approx 3pm on Saturday and again in the evening. It will be open for Full English Breakfast at 09:00 on Sunday.
We will aim to leave IYC again around 11:00am on the Sunday with an estimated arrival back at TEYC of 12:30.
The toilets at the club will be open during the night for our convenience.
Dogs are welcome on the grounds but not in the clubhouse please.
