Day trip to Queenborough
For those planning to sail by dinghy
Join us for our second Inter-Club Sail of 2026 as we make our way across the estuary to Queenborough on Sunday.
Muster: 07:40
Sail-away: 09:00 sharp
We will take advantage of the outgoing tide for a sail across to Queenborough in company with the AYC, where you’ll have time to explore the town and enjoy lunch at one of the local ‘hostelries’
There are at least two excellent ones to choose from, both offering a warm welcome and good food. Maybe a game of frisbee on the green ?
We will aim to depart Queenborough again at approximately 4:00 pm, arriving back at the club around 6:30pm / 7:00 pm.
Please note the timing is approximate and will very much depend on the wind strength and direction on the day.
Whether you’re a seasoned sailor or joining us for the first time this season, we’d be delighted to see you on the water for what promises to be an enjoyable day afloat, good company, and a relaxing lunch ashore.
