Benfleet Yacht Club Camping Trip SAT/SUN 28th/29th June information
SATURDAY 28th JUNE
12:15 Muster at TEYC
Sail away from TEYC 13:45
Arrival at BYC 15:00 – 15:30 (Depending on wind direction and speed)
High Water: 15:28 / Height: 5.58
IMPORTANT: You are requested NOT to drink your own alcohol on the BYC premises or grounds – Please make use of the Benfleet bar for your drinks, as they are hosting for us, and this is how we make it worth their while every year.
The galley will be open if you need lunch.
Traditional TEYC Rounders Match
We will have use of the BBQ on Saturday evening – please bring your own food to cook
The toilets at the club will be open during the night for our ‘convenience’
You may take tents down and set them up on Friday evening should you wish.
SUNDAY: 29th JUNE
I am hoping to arrange for the BYC galley to be open for breakfast and we will again have the use of the club BBQ.
NEW FOR THIS YEAR:- Step aboard Sailing Barge “Raybel” from 10:00am – She will be moored at BYC during our stay.
We will aim to leave when there is enough water – Hopefully this will be by around 14:30
Approx arrival back at TEYC 16:00 (Entirely dependent on departure time and wind direction/speed)
High Water: 16:15 / Height: 5.50

Cruisers: You must let me know (If you haven’t already) if you are coming so I can arrange a mooring for you.
Drivers: If you can take sailors camping equipment in your vehicle “Rubber over Tarmac” from the club Saturday before our departure, that is always appreciated.
