Thursday: Evening handicap series start time 19.30 r/o’s Debbie and Richard Mangham s/b A Powell. The bar will be open from 20.00 manned Mel and Andy.
Friday: We have the Gnome night race scheduled, however some people have expressed reservations about sailing 3 nights in a row so we may incorporate this race into Thursdays sailing so watch this space. There will be no bar this Friday night either due to staff shortages.
Sunday: Summer points 1&2 start time 11.00 r/o Steve Riddell (if anyone could do his stint for him he said he will buy them lots of beer) s/b Josh Rae. The bar will be open from 13.00 to 16.00.
UPCOMING EVENTS
Saturday 9/07 Commodores day and the quick vs the dead race plus paella on the jetty in the evening at a miserly £5 per head. More details to follow but a list is up on the notice board so get your names down soonest.
Saturday 16/07 The RNLI charity race day 10.00 start followed by an afternoon BBQ with a race evening being organised and hosted by South Essex Homes . We also hope to have Southend Lifeboat(s) visiting us during the day. All proceeds from the above will be donated to the RNLI. Again, more details to follow closer the time.
