Saturday 9/07 sees the annual Commodores Day, which as you know by now gives us our chance to thank for the Commodore for all his efforts over the year and more importantly give him a damn good soaking as we sail past him. As per normal there will tea, cakes etc. etc. available in the afternoon, kindly provided by the Commodore.
We will also be running the Quick vs The Dead race, which as you know, is a select group of adults racing against cadets which usually involves a lot of cheating.
Finally, in the evening Steph is cooking a Paella @ approx. 19.00 which will be £5 per head. Please let Steph know soonest (sjc@maynard-heady.co.uk) or put your name on the list which is on the noticeboard.
We do need volunteers to help in the galley and bar on the day, so please contact me if you can help, the more people who offer to help the easier it makes it for all of us.
