Thurrock Yacht Club takes on Thames Estuary Yacht Club in an inter club dinghy challenge. Cruise to Old Leigh – 16th July
Saturday is the inter-club cruise to Leigh, please muster at 12:00 midday. The plan is to sail to Old Leigh, pull the boats up the beach and partake of refreshments – we should expect approx. 1 hour ashore before heading back to TEYC base. Weather and wind look fair.

The 2022 TEYC Summer Party – Saturday 23rd July
There’s lots of interest already in the BBQ, which is priced at £8 per person, £4 for cadets under 12. To avoid disappointment, get your name down now by emailing Steve Riddell (see this week’s TWA for his address) to let him know your numbers and if you require the vegetarian option, and pay the required amount directly into the TEYC account using the reference BBQ.

The RNLI are holding their annual dinner on Saturday 8^th October at the Boatyard Restaurant in Old Leigh
The evening will include dinner from a choice of menus, raffle, auction and a Q&A session with RNLI crew. Cost of the event is £45.00 per head.
TEYC has a strong association with the RNLI with a number of current and past members being on the crew or in support so it would be good if we could field a table or two at this fundraising event.
