Thurrock Wayfarer Trophy Race – 16th July
Thurrock Yacht Club have a fleet of Wayfarers and have invited us to field some teams to race against them for a new Trophy using their boats. Please let Neil Woodbridge know (see this week’s TWA) if you’re interested in taking part as a Helm or crew.

Interclub cruise to Old Leigh – 16th July
For those not taking part in the Thurrock Wayfarer Trophy Race we also have the interclub cruise to Old Leigh on Saturday 16th July, muster 12:30 at the TEYC, high water 15:26.

The 2022 TEYC Summer Party – Saturday 23rd July
The first TEYC summer party since 2019 is approaching fast! Full details will be announced in next week’s TWA. The evening will include a BBQ at a bargain £8 per person, £4 for cadets under 12. If you would like to get your name down early for the BBQ to avoid disappointment, please email Steve Riddell to let him know, (see this week’s TWA) and pay the required amount directly into the TEYC account using the reference BBQ.

The RNLI are holding their annual dinner on Saturday 8^th October at the Boatyard Restaurant in Old Leigh
The evening will include dinner from a choice of menus, raffle, auction and a Q&A session with RNLI crew. Cost of the event is £45.00 per head. TEYC has a strong association with the RNLI with a number of current and past members being on the crew or in support so it would be good if we could field a table or two at this fundraising event.
