Ceilidh (pronounced “kay-lee”) – Saturday 28th April from 7pm
Get together with friends and family and come down to the club for a good-old Celtic Barn Dance. The bar will, of course, be very open. Please see the poster from Julie Hughes for all the details. THURSDAY:
20:00: Bar Open – run by ‘The Commodore’
Beer of the week is Checkpoint Charlie – 4.0% – A blonde ale with 4 Malt brew with 3 hop varieties from the USA and Germany.
FRIDAY:
20:00: Club Night: The bar will be run by Kirsty Robertson
SATURDAY AFTERNOON:
12:00: Sea Dogs and Hot Dogs (Hosted by Chris Lightfoot)
Please bring your dog down to the clubhouse for larks and laughs, and if you do not have your own dog bring your friends who do have one! This is a chance to bring your prize pooches and dastliest mutts for canine capers and wacky races. Followed by hot dogs and refreshments.
Commencing at 12:00 with the Salty Sea Dogs competition, including:
- Fastest foxy
- Remarkable retriever
- Slinky slalom
- Highest hound
- Boomiest bark
- Scooby dooby do where are you?
Every dog will get a prize of sorts. 🐶
13:00 – 15:00 Hot dogs and burgers. Bar open.
SATURDAY EVENING:
19:00: Leigh SC & Benfleet Briefings / Movie Night
There will be a movie night and briefing for the cruise to Leigh Sailing Club on the 28th April and the overnight trip on the 12th and 13th of May to Benfleet. If you are planning on going on either or both of these, it will be helpful in planning the logistics if you can attend the evening.
