The Week Ahead 23rd – 29th April

A message from The Commodore
Huge thanks to Chris Lightfoot for arranging a fantastic afternoon of doggie beach games yesterday. The dogs and their owners had a great time competing the various challenges set, with all dogs receiving a trophy. This was a followed by an excellent BBQ cooked and generously provided by Chris and Isla. Let’s hope we can do it again soon with the same weather please.
Ceilidh (pronounced “kay-lee”) – This Saturday from 7pm
Last chance to reserve your place!  Get together with friends and family and come down to the club for a good-old Celtic Barn Dance.  The bar will, of course, be very open.  Please see the poster from Julie Hughes for all the details.Spaces for the ceilidh are limited due to the nature of the event – to make sure you don’t miss out, please contact Julie (see the latest TEYC WeekAhead email for her address or email theweekahead@teyc.co.uk ) to reserve your place for this great night at The TEYC.

Beer of the week is Legra Pale from the Leigh-on-sea Brewery 3.8% – a light, fresh and sessionable golden ale. Single hopped, during the boil and following fermentation, with lashings of Citra hops for a clean citrus flavour. Tastes fantastic with seafood – especially a pint of prawns on the Old Leigh seafront!
